Why you should do one thing at a time. And How? It is more beneficial to do one thing at a time. As humans, we are made in a way that multitasking would not be the most productive way of doing things. That is because we are programmed to focus on one thing at a time and multi-tasking is really just switching between tasks fast. Which turns out to be more detrimental than helpful. So, how should we focus on one thing at a time? Do the Most Important thing First thing in the Morning Preferably without interruption, find the time, somewhere between an hour to 2 hours would be enough, with a clear start and stop time. Work in a private and quiet place with little disturbances. Resist any urges to tend to those disturbances, if it helps, write down the things which are disturbing you and come back to the list after you have finished what you set out to do from the start. Why Wake Up at 5 in the morning? And How? I used to be the typical teen, sleeping only 6 hours a day with very unhealthy sleeping habits. I used to sleep at 12 and wake up at 6 in the morning for school and if it was a weekend, I would sleep in till 10am, only to be awakened by my mother shouting at me to wake up. Of course, it wasn’t easy changing my wake up time from a late 10am to an early 5am, but I did with a little determination and resisting myself from pressing that snooze button and heading straight back to bed. This is how it used to be at 10am on weekends  Woke up feeling groggy and horrible, that was because I slept late and did not get enough sleep.
