How Valuing yourself Changes Everything Else. And How?

How Valuing yourself Changes Everything Else. And How?

Today, i will be going through what it means to value yourself and how you should learn to value yourself.

What is the importance of valuing yourself?

Self-value is more behavioral than emotional, more about how you act toward what you value, including yourself, than how you feel about yourself compared to others. It necessarily includes self-care.

To value something goes beyond regarding it as important; you also appreciate its qualities, while investing time, energy, effort, and sacrifice in its nurturing or maintenance.

So, How Can You Value yourself more?
  • Take care of yourself, physically.
Commit to making your physical health important and worthy of appreciation, time, energy, and sacrifice.

Begin by reading widely available information about wellness, diet, and exercise, and decide which are optimal for you. Pursue your regimen of health vigorously—not only for yourself, but to make the world a better place.

Basically, exercise more, eat healthy. Actually do it.

  • Emotional Self Care
Make your emotional well-being worthy of appreciation, time, energy, and sacrifice. This means to..

  • Act on what's most important.
Simply put, don't waste your time acting on things that are not important to you. Things that do not affect you.

Think of the big mistakes you’ve made in life: Nearly every one probably involves devaluing someone or something important to you by acting on something that was not as important.

I want you to only act on what is important to you. Don't act on something or someone who is not important to you.

  • Value when feeling devalued.
The easiest way to feel valuable is to be compassionate, kind, or loving.

This is a simple but transformative skill, which anyone can acquire with practice. When you feel powerless/ devalued , do something that will make you feel more valuable (e.g., compassionate, kind, or loving). Your self-value will be higher than before the powerless feeling occurred.

  • Honor your deepest values.
This is the most important. You have to honor your most important values. If not why are they even your deepest values. Never go against your deepest values no matter what it is.

When we are true to our deepest values—whatever they are—we feel more genuine. When we violate those values, we experience guilt, shame, and anxiety—not as punishments, but as reminders to be authentic.

Remain true to your values.

I really hope i helped you realise what you should do to value yourself more!

5 Steps to Being Productive

5 Steps to Being Productive Firstly, What is being Productive? Productivity is often describes a person's capability to do a lot of work, but is can refer to anything that produces a lot. A Productive day would mean to complete more things in a less amount of time but also doing it effectively.   Productivity is the amount of output produced per work hour. In other words, the calculation is: Productivity = output / work hours. Here are some points to remember, Sleep. Sleep more. I know it can be tempting to stay up at night to do whatever do but you would wake up the next day feeling more exhausted. Its hard to be productive while yawning and trying to stay awake. I suggest you have at least 6-8 hours of sleep a day. It will also be better if you regulate your sleeping schedule and sleep at the same time everyday even if it is the weekends and also wake up at the same time if possible. Plan out your week.  It’s extremely important to plan you...
